| Adeje is the starting point of a very popular walk into the Barranco del Infierno. (Hell's Gorge) | The canyon is very deep. There are several
viewing points along the path. |
| The trail alongside a water canal. The walk takes 2 - 3 hours and is approx. 5 kilometres. | Vegetation along the steep, almost vertical rock
walls of the canyon. |
| The path might disturb vertigo sufferers... |
You will find many interesting plants. This is an endemic species of Canary Islands, Lavatera Acerifolia Cav.. |
| Almost unbelievable. Water in these very dry
environments. |
The walk culminates in a small waterfall. A rewarding sight at the end of the barranco. |
