Adeje seen from the path Barranco del Infierno
Adeje is the starting point of a very popular walk into the Barranco del Infierno. (Hell's Gorge) The canyon is very deep. There are several viewing points along the path.
Trail and water canal Euphorbia canariensis in the foreground
The trail alongside a water canal. The walk takes 2 - 3 hours and is approx. 5 kilometres. Vegetation along the steep, almost vertical rock walls of the canyon.
View from the trail (Malvaceae) Malva silvestre
The path might disturb vertigo sufferers...

You will find many interesting plants. This is an endemic species of Canary Islands, Lavatera Acerifolia Cav..
Pool Waterfall
Almost unbelievable. Water in these very dry environments.
The walk culminates in a small waterfall. A rewarding sight at the end of the barranco.
