Fuerteventura is only about 100
km long and up to 30 km wide, so you can travel from south to north in a couple of hours.
On the way from Jandía to
Corralejo, we found this deserted farm where we spent some time inspecting the abandoned
buildings.
Fuerteventura is scarcely
populated. The island has got about 40.000 inhabitants.
There was no vegetation at
all, so you could not run a farm here.

cheese is the white gold of the island. The goat is held in high esteem for its high level
of milk production and its low needs regarding nourishment.
